I am two.

I am mom, wife, writer, a responsible adult.
I am teen, girlfriend, a confidante.

I am blonde. I am pink. My hair is long. My head is shaved.

I am two.

We swing in a hammock. We kiss in the dark. We run through the rain. We park.

I love you.
I need you.
I miss you.

Why did I choose you?
Why can't I leave you?
I care nothing for you.
You're my worst mistake.
I would never choose you again.

But I can't tell anyone any of that.

I must stay two. One keeps the other alive. But the one that I wish was alive is the one who must hide.
